Felix Insaurralde:

Our Director, Felix Insaurralde, was ranked No.1 in singles in Paraguay between the ages of 12-18 where he represented the country on many international events. Nominated to be part of the Davis Cup Team with only 15 years of age becoming this way in youngest player in the history of the country.

He participated in the Pan-American Games in Winnipeg, Canada and accepted a full scholarship to represent East Tennessee State University (Division 1) where he helped to achieve their best ranking in history of #32 in the nation. After six years at ETSU he graduated with a degree in Business Administration and a Master in Public Financial Management.

He faced many recognized players such as John Isner, Bob Brian, David Nalbandian and Bruno Soares (#1 in world in doubles). He played exhibition matches with Yanik Noah and Victor Pecci (Ex No 1 in the World No 7 in the World). As a coach, Felix has trained players such as Davis Carvallo ( top 10 in the state of Florida, 14 years), Nadia Echeverria, Top 600 WTA, Sasha Vickery ( Top 100 WTA) Today, Felix Insaurralde is certified as Elite Coach from the USPTA as well as a High Performance and Sport Science coach by the USTA.

FIT Tennis Academy is committed to developing healthy minds and providing educational opportunities for children through the sport of tennis. The academy was founded on the principle of using tennis as a vehicle to reach and empower people and to equip them with the skills and knowledge to become responsible citizens of their community.


Using a cooperative coaching style, at Fit Tennis Academy we strongly believes that positive reinforcement, respect and encouragement are the ingredients not only to create excellent players, but most important to give the our students the opportunity to believe in themselves; developing good values, discipline and character.  Tennis is a complex sport where other variables are also in play and need to be developed to become successful player. These variables include grips variations, footwork, strokes biomechanics, tactics, strategies, fitness and psychological strength. We believe that if we focus our energy on the personal and technical aspects, we will produce not only great players, but good people.


Yeffrens Paiva

From Caracas, Venezula. Yeffrens count with  PTR and ITF certification. Yeffrens has over 20 years of teaching experience. He has been the assistance coach at Barry University since 2016 and counts with associates degrees in Business Administration.Yeffrens, has participated in important international events such as Cosat, Cotecc and ITF circuits.

Tomi Vrsalovic

From Cochabamba Bolivia, Graduated from his High School with academic and athletic honor. Competed in tennis since the age of 10 and becoming the best Junior player in his town and top 10 in his native country.

Tomi played in international events such as Cosat circuit in South America and ITF professional events. He is working on two majors (business and economics) at FAU and is member of President list. Tomi has over 3 years of teaching experience.

Noe Sagardia

9 years of teaching experience at all levels. Noe played for 7 years in the Argentina professional circuit as well as main draws in ITF professional tournaments. Full scholarship and #1 raquet for the University of Sagrada Corazon.
